Registration for the 2021 Ukrainian Camp & Dance Workshop is open!
Apologies if this gets a little wordy but there is a lot to get through. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, comments or ideas. We want your feedback!
So let's go over some details.
2021 Day Camp
July 12th through 24th Ages 5-13
Time: 3:30PM - 6:00PM Mon thru Fri
Where: Dickinson Middle School
Performance: Belfield, No Dak Late afternoon of Sat, July 24th.
Cost: $100
The biggest change for this year are the revised hours for the Day Camp. Travel is still a big uncertainty and as many of you know, most of our instructors usually come from outside North Dakota. To help better access local instructors and volunteers with obligations during the day, we have shortened camp hours and pushed the start time to mid-afternoon.
This year is all about dance and music / language. Leo Piasta is back teaching dance! Alex Piasta is back teaching dance! And Emil Anheluk will be teaching music / language!
If you are due to be Wreathed or Sashed either from 2020 or this year, please let us know as soon as you can. Make sure we know!
Also, another change of note...13 year old students can now opt to either participate in Day Camp only, Evening Dance Workshop only, or both. Essentially we got rid of the "double duty" rule. However, if you are due to be Wreathed or Sashed, you must at minimum participate in the Evening Dance Workshop.
2021 Dance Workshop
July 11th through 24th Ages 13+
Time: 6:00PM - 9:45PM Sun thru Fri Middle Saturday TBD
Where: Dickinson Middle School

The Evening Dance Workshop has essentially stayed the same. Budmo!
2021 "Non-Dancer" Evening Classes
Heads up! We are again working to put together some short ala carte evening classes for those of us who aren't dancers or who have old knees that have lost their bendy. ;) We are not sure quite yet which direction we will go. Maybe a cooking class? Maybe Ukrainian Pysanky (Easter Eggs)? Maybe wheat weaving? Maybe making Korovai? Maybe a musical project? Maybe all of the above!
We'll keep you updated once we iron this out. Please let us know if you would be interested in any of these possibilities or if you would like us to consider some other Ukrainian art or skill.
Thank you for your patience!
It has taken us a little longer this year to get back into the swing of things. We thank you for all the inquiries and encouragement. It is all sincerely appreciated.
